Sodium Hypochlorite- The formula is NaClO. This is a Ternary Ionic Compound because it is made of three elements.
This has many uses. It is used in bleach and many other disinfectants. It can be used in the household for removing stains from laundry but outside of the household, it may be used to remove mold stains or dental stains. NaClO has also been used for chlorination in water systems. Many hospitals have used this to help treat bacteria and viruses and as a disinfectant.
