Sydney Pack CaO_3

Pack, Sydney

Calcium Carbonate is a ternary ionic compound because it has more than two elements.
It is a white to pale yellow brown powder. Back in the day it was used as a weapon, it would be thrown in peoples face and make them blind. Calcium carbonate forms into limestone which is in some counter tops, paper, paints, homes, bridges, toothpastes, cosmetics, and many more.

  1. Who would have guessed that limestone could be used to blind someone?
