Lithium Carbonate

Kenny Tobin
Lithium Carbonate - The formula is Li₂CO₃. This is a ternary ionic compound because there is more than 2 elements as a part of the compound.
Lithium Carbonate is not a very commonly used everyday. It is used as an important industrial chemical. Lithium carbonate is a common ingredient in both low-fire and high-fire ceramic glaze. It makes cement more useful to set more rapidly  for tile adhesives.
