HCN - Prussic Acid (Hydrocyanic Acid ): An acid made from the combination of hydrogen and cyanide, as well as water in its liquid form. It is used mainly in the fumigation of houses, and is also used in the process of electroplating. Unfortunately this gas is also very deadly to humans, preventing cellular oxidization processes. Very useful, but not fun to breath.
And now i know how an exterminator does their job.

ReplyDeleteIts interesting to know that such a lethal chemical is allowed to be used in houses.
