A Useful, but Deadly Acid

Barlow, Dylan

HCN - Prussic Acid (Hydrocyanic Acid ): An acid made from the combination of hydrogen and cyanide, as well as water in its liquid form. It is used mainly in the fumigation of houses, and is also used in the process of electroplating. Unfortunately this gas is also very deadly to humans, preventing cellular oxidization processes. Very useful, but not fun to breath.

  2. It is very cool that we have managed to control this gas, shocking that we use something so deadly to fumigate our houses.
