Phosphoric Acid - Brandon Coats

Phosphoric Acid - This is a acid because it includes hydrogen. The formula for this acid is H3PO4 .
Its Molar mass is 98 g/mol. Its melting point is a 108.2 degrees Fahrenheit. It boils at 316.4 degrees Fahrenheit and is soluble in water.
Phosphoric acid is found in detergents and soda. Phosphoric acid can remove rust as well. If you leave it on a surface such as tile for at least an hour, it will break down and loosen mineral deposits, making the rust easy to just wipe away.

  1. It is really interesting to find out that it does not have a melting point that high.

  2. It's probably not that healthy for you to drink in soda if it's also an ingredient in detergent.
